would be nice to make the bitrate visible somehow for the song that plays, maybe only in a "developer mode" or "debug mode" but maybe also in a more intuitive way ...

If it takes so much effort and expense to create a mobile app, wouldn't it be easier to make a "web" app? It can be used on a PC as well as any browser on a smartphone.
